Bestselling Redemptive and Family DVDs

Cinderella is currently the top-selling movie on DVD in the Family, Adventure, and Fantasy categories. “On DVD Releases” reports the bestselling DVDs, as well as how to find them, ratings, and genres.

Christian Cinema’s top ten bestselling movies from its catalog are, in order, Beyond the Mask, Alone Yet Not Alone, Love Comes Softly (collection of 10 DVDs), Do You Believe?, Return to the Hiding Place, Different Drummers, Faith of our Fathers, Gallows Road, God’s Not Dead, and the War Room study guide. This catalogue provides valuable information for the movies in its catalog, including descriptions, recommendations, and ratings. For a little more than the cost of a movie ticket, viewers can own the good movies they have missed in theaters. Having them in your personal libraries is significant, since movie selections come and go on streaming services.

Other DVD sources specifically provide redemptive and family movies. Fish Flix.com offers worthwhile DVDs for families of all ages, including the movie Adrenaline that was released to DVD yesterday. This film, featuring John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard) is about a drag racer left semi-paraplegic by a near-fatal car crash. He struggles to walk, trust, love, and ultimately race again. Those interested in this movie can learn more about it, follows its updates, and see the trailer on its Facebook page. (Many independent redemptive family movies have Facebook pages where those interested can follow their developments, see behind-the-scenes, and become part of its family of supporters.)

The outstanding A.D. The Bible Continues series produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, one of the best series on television in 2015, is set for DVD release on November 3. It can be preordered, as can other DVDs yet to be released.

As it does for many recent DVD releases, Sonoma Christian Home provides information, reviews, and interviews for the DVD release of Where Hope Grows with Kristoffer Polaha and David DeSanctis. This inspirational movie is about a baseball player whose professional career has been cut short due to his personal problems but who is awakened and invigorated by a young man with Down syndrome who works at the local grocery store.

The ongoing Renaissance of artistry and Reformation of content is increasingly available in many forms such as movies in theaters, DVDs, and streaming sources. Thankfully, there are also many good sources of specific reviews by reputable professionals for redemptive family media.
